How to Leave a Gift in Your Will

There are several simple ways to leave a bequest to School for Life Foundation Australia Limited (ABN 44 134 595 681):

  • Residuary Bequest: The remainder of your estate after other gifts and expenses — a highly impactful way to give.

  • Percentage Bequest: A set percentage of your estate.

  • Specific Bequest: A specific amount, asset, or item (e.g. shares, real estate).

We recommend consulting your solicitor to ensure your Will reflects your intentions. If you already have a Will, you can add a codicil (a legal amendment) to include your gift to School for Life.

Suggested Legal Wording

 I give to School for Life Foundation Australia Limited (ABN 44 134 595 681):

The rest and residue of my Estate, or

{…..} percent of my Estate, or

{…..} percent of the residue of my Estate, or

The Sum of {$.....} 

Free of all duties and testamentary expenses for its general purposes and I direct that the receipt of that organisation shall be sufficient discharge to my executors for this bequest.
