THE GIRLS’ FUND

Because Every Girl Deserves a Chance to Learn

Across Uganda, millions of girls are denied the right to education. Many drop out before finishing primary school — often due to early marriage, poverty, or lack of access to safe, supportive schools.

At School for Life, we believe every girl deserves the freedom to learn, dream, and define her own future. The Girls’ Fund removes the barriers that hold girls back — from period poverty to unsafe travel — giving them the opportunity to thrive in the classroom and beyond.

Why Girls’ Education Matters

When you educate a girl, you don’t just change her life — you change her world.

  • Each extra year of schooling increases a girl’s earning power by up to 25%.

  • She’ll reinvest 90% of her income into her family and community.

  • Educated women are more likely to send their children to school, breaking the cycle of poverty for good.
