Kilimanjaro: Trek for our Teachers

Want to join us in Tanzania and Uganda? This is the trip for you!

What is the Kilimanjaro: Trek for Teachers?

It’s simple really. We’re climbing Africa’s highest mountain to raise funds for our teachers. And we need your help. Whether you’re 21 or 61 you’re invited to come with us on a once in a lifetime trek up Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and a visit to our schools in Uganda to see first-hand where your hard-earned fundraising dollars will go.

You’ll challenge yourself in ways you never thought possible, all while helping School for Life employ the best possible teachers. Just $200 provides a teacher’s salary for a month, including accommodation, 3 nutritious meals per day, ongoing training and personal development opportunities. Your fundraising dollars go directly to our teachers, helping to educate more than 400 students in rural Uganda.

What to expect?

- Watch the sunrise over the East African plains as you stand on top of the world’s highest freestanding mountain

- Help School for Life provide a high quality education to students in Uganda

- Meet the teachers whose lives you’re changing and get involved in a rural Ugandan community

If climbing Kili isn’t for you and you’d like the opportunity to come visit us in Uganda why not come to our school opening in 2017? Send us an email at info@schoolforlife.org.au to register your interest and we’ll be in touch with more details soon!

Join today and help us provide a hand up, not a hand out.
