What piece of clothing do we take for granted every day in developed nations?

Something many of us take for granted is a piece of clothing we wear every single day.

That's right - underwear.

In Uganda, the majority of our students don't have any underwear - for girls, this can become problematic and in Uganda it often leads to many female missing school for a few days or a week each month when they are menstruating. Many women don't have access to sanitary products and have to use grass, dirt, newspaper and rags when they have their period. This is both embarrassing and dangerous for their health.

Thanks to the awesome social enterprise Buy Undies Give Undies, our students have received brand new undies, made by our wonderful team of School for Life tailors. As you can see in the images, this made our students extremely happy!
