Help us educate 160 new students in 2017

I don’t mean to cause you anxiety, but did you know there are only 59 days until Christmas?

Uganda is a predominately Christian country, however Santa won’t be dropping off presents to most children who live here. In contrast to kids with a more Western upbringing, Ugandan children aren't materialistic – in lieu of Christmas presents they would prefer the freedom and opportunity that comes with having an education, access to clean running water, nutritious meals and healthcare.

This is what School for life provides to  400 children from some of the poorest areas of Uganda.

School for Life has 160 new students starting in 2017, bringing the total number of children in our care to 560, with 125 teachers and staff. We have set the ambitious target of raising $80,000 over the next 59 days to set up our new 160 students with everything they need to have the best start to the New Year.

But we can’t do this without your help.

Christmas is a time for giving, and our new students need your help. We have 14 different levels of gifts available – covering everything from a pencil case filled with pencils, medical supplies, a hand washing station or even an entire Science lab. With every tax deductible gift purchased you will receive a Christmas card, and depending on the level of impact, there are also bonus gifts hand-made by our KUMI women’s tailoring program.

Alternatively we also have handmade gifts from our KUMI women's empowerment program such as Christmas stockings, make-up bags, clutches and laptop cases available in our shop - be quick as stock levels are low!

Please give generously this Christmas through our School for Life shop
