School for Life strongly believes that health and nutrition are an integral part of poverty alleviation.

As part of this philosophy, SFL provides regular healthcare checkups, partnering with Alive Medical Services in Kampala to bring a team of 10 doctors, nurses, nutritionists, counselors and lab technicians to the community. SFL constantly maintains a clean water pump to provide free clean drinking water and reduce water-borne diseases in the community. SFL also educates the primary school students about nutrition and hygiene by providing students with 3 balanced meals each day and teaching children the importance of hygiene and sanitation. Family planning workshops and community outreach programs are conducted regularly to provide the entire community with access to information and resources.
